Currently, the app offers comprehensive data for snowmobiling and ATV/UTV trails, with continuous updates to enhance user experience.

Users can access current and pertinent information through The Next Trail, as the app collaborates with numerous local clubs. These clubs have the capability to announce new events, update trail statuses, and offer on-screen details about local businesses and amenities.

The Next Trail integrates data from multiple sources to provide users with a comprehensive trail experience:

1. Map Images represent digital versions of the traditional paper maps distributed by snowmobile clubs.
2. Trails offer in-depth trail data sourced from states, counties, and/or clubs, using GIS for precise mapping compared to Map Images.
3. Users can also record their own trails, which can be securely backed up to cloud storage (included in the subscription), ensuring the preservation of trails even in case of a lost or replaced phone.

All maps and trails within the app are downloadable, making it essential to download them when internet service is accessible. During activities, the app operates offline, utilizing the phone's GPS to accurately display the user's location.
